Utilities

Challenge:

The GWP the largest company in GGU group is the major Georgian utility provider with over 3500 employees, faced significant operational inefficiencies due to outdated software, manual processes (especially in procurement, inventory, and HR), and a lack of integrated digital systems.

Solution:

Proxima Systems implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 across all six GGU Group companies, a comprehensive project completed in under three years.

Key Project Phases & Outcomes:

  • Phase     1 (4 Months - Core ERP): Rapid deployment of fundamental modules     including Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Financial     Accounting, Fixed Assets, HR, and Payroll. This immediately digitalized     critical processes and replaced unreliable legacy systems.

  • Phase     3 (9 Months - Utility-Specific): Introduction of specialized modules     vital for utility operations, including Billing (for hundreds of thousands     of customers), Business Center Management, Complaints, Incident     Management, Mobile Field Services, and New Network Management.

Results: The Dynamics AX 2012 implementation profoundly transformed GWP's operations, achieving comprehensive digitalization, vastly improved efficiency,

enhanced control over critical assets and finances, and a strengthened foundation for customer service.

The system now supports 620 active users and encompasses over 30 integrated modules, demonstrating our capability in delivering large-scale, impactful ERP solutions for the utility sector.
