Challenge:

As one of Georgia's largest beer manufacturers, Global Beer Georgia sought to optimize and integrate all business units, specifically needing a robust ERP solution to manage its complex, multi-step manufacturing process and extensive supply chain, including sales and distribution.

Solution:

Proxima Systems successfully implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX in Global Beer Georgia during 2017. The entire project was completed within 12 months.

Key Project Scope & Outcomes:

The primary objective was to digitalize all essential stagesof GBG's supply chain for both its beer and lemonade production anddistribution business lines. This involved implementing a comprehensive suiteof Dynamics AX modules, including:

  • Advanced     Manufacturing Process: Implementation covered the entire production     cycle, from brewing and fermentation to filtration and bottling, ensuring     efficient and controlled manufacturing operations.
  • Supply     Chain Management (SCM): Core modules like Procurement & Sourcing     and Inventory Management were integrated to optimize material flow and     control.
  • Sales     and Distribution: This module was implemented to manage the sales     pipeline, order processing, and distribution logistics, significantly     enhancing market reach and efficiency.
  • Mobile     Sales Integration: A key differentiator, integrating mobile sales     capabilities provided field teams with real-time access and streamlined     order placement, improving sales force productivity.
  • Financial     Management: Modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,     Bank Transfer, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger provided a solid financial     backbone for the company.

Results: The Dynamics AX implementation at GlobalBeer Georgia successfully digitalized the company's entire supply chain, fromintricate manufacturing processes to efficient sales and distribution. This ledto optimized business processes, improved integration across all units, andenhanced operational control for one of Georgia's leading beverage producers.
